College Prep Program
IC Catholic Prep offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum with emphasis on the core subject areas essential for college admission, including English, Mathematics, Lab Sciences, Social Studies and Foreign Language. Additionally, ICCP requires course work in Theology, Business, Computer Applications and Physical Education & Health. Elective courses are offered allowing students to pursue their unique interests. At ICCP, students of all ability levels are challenged to reach their full potential.

IC Catholic Prep’s Honors Program is designed for students with high ability or special interests. Students are invited to participate based on their entrance exam scores and academic performance. These courses cover more advanced material, move at a faster pace, contain more independent work, and carry a weighted grade. All courses not designated as “Honors” are college preparatory.

Advanced Placement (AP) Program
Advanced Placement (AP) classes require advanced levels of reading, critical thinking, and especially writing skills. Students must be able to perform at an accelerated level to accommodate larger amounts of subject content. Equivalent to college courses, AP courses prepare students to successfully complete the College Board AP Examination given at the end
of the school year. These exams offer students the opportunity to earn college credit. ICCP offers AP courses in English, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Lab Science and Social Studies.

Elmhurst College—Senior Option Program
IC Catholic Prep has a partnership with Elmhurst College allowing qualified ICCP students to take up to two (2) courses at the college at no additional cost. This option may be available to students who have successfully completed the ICCP offered AP Courses and have fulfilled their
IC Catholic Prep is accredited by AdvancED, formerly the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and has recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education.
ICCP is a member in good standing of the National Catholic Education Association.
All core curriculum courses offered at ICCP are NCAA approved.
