Eighth Grade Student Application Process
IC Catholic Prep does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin in administration of its admissions policies, educational policies, athletic programs, scholarships and loan programs, or other school administered programs.
The Admissions Committee reviews each applicant on an individual basis. Applicants for admission must successfully complete eighth grade or its equivalent to be considered. Acceptance is based on a combination of the following factors:
- Performance on the high school entrance exam;
- Academic ability as demonstrated by the review of 7th and 8th grade report cards;
- Performance on 7th and/or 8th grade standardized tests; and
- Teacher recommendations.
Steps to become a KNIGHT…
Taking the IC Catholic Prep Entrance Exam is the first step in the application process.
For those 8th grade students who have not yet taken the Entrance Exam at a Catholic High School, IC Catholic Prep is scheduling MAKE-UP ENTRANCE EXAMS through Friday, February 10th, 2017. Exams will be scheduled on an individual basis by calling Kate Luburic, Director of Admissions, at 630-530-3484.Make-Up Exams will be scheduled Monday-Friday beginning at 8am. Exams will be administered in the main school building – 217 Cottage Hill Avenue in Elmhurst.
